See the white kitty on my userpic, she's one of the special soul to enter into my life.
Her name is Lily.
My brother found her in the drain, late at night.
Being deaf, it was understandable how she could have lost her way.
For the first few days, she didnt have a proper name.
At that time, "We Can Make It" single was released.
So Lina and I proposed to call her "Di-li-li".
My brother decided to called her Lily instead (I have to agree, it sounded much more practical).
She was really the bundle of joy in our family.
Apparently she seemed to like Arashi, staring at the pc whenever Arashi's videos were being played.<(0-0)>
At first we thought that it was all in our heads, but mom and dad pointed out the same too.
"Eh, Lily kept on watching the screen for such a long time, seems she likes Japanese boys like both of you?" xDDD
Just to check on our 'hypothesis', we played other random boy groups videos too...
Quickly she would doze off in less than 10 seconds <(=_=)>zzzzzzz~,
But when Arashi's clip was played again, she became alert and wd continue staring. <(0-0)>
(It's a wonder how a deaf kitty could tell the difference, even with her eyes closed)
And we've came to realize that most of her attention to Arashi were given to the group's zoo-keeper, Aiba. <3
There's this one part in "We Can Make It" PV, where Aiba's face would show up in front of the screen, and suddenly moved to the side.
Her head will follow him, and soon after Aiba face disappeared, Lily's eyes would sort of blinks in confusion.
Then she turned to us, with this look which seemed to say: "Where did he go??" <(o.0)>???
So there were so many more instances which clearly shows her adoration to Aiba.
Maybe she could rival any other Aiba fangirls, hehe.
But on the very day when TIME album was released, her life in this world ended.
It was hard to let go at first, but I had to be strong for my brother.
He didn't realize that Lily was sleeping under his car when he started the engine.
Lily, being deaf, wouldn't have known that the car is moving, so she couldn't run away in time.
The very person who found her in the drain, and decided to call her 'Lily'... It must've been the hardest for him.
People and animals alike, they leave footprints in our lives, right? Some leave deeper marks. Even years after they're gone 'physically'.
Just now, Lina and I were looking at the new magazine scans. One of it is the October 2009 Edition of POTATO.
They have this section where each of the member had to answer random questions, starting with given letter.
One of the question was: "If you were to give a name to your cat, starting with the letter 'り',(Ri/Li) what would it be?"
Aiba's answer: 'リリー'
LILY.
Sometimes, your loved ones never leave.
